Plans & limits

What each subscription plan includes, how limits are enforced, whose plan applies, and what happens when you downgrade.

Joely has four plans: Free, Plus, Team, and Enterprise. For prices, see the pricing page; this page documents how the plans behave inside the product.

Whose plan counts?

For everything project-scoped, the project owner's plan applies, never the individual member's. A staff member on the Free plan working in a project owned by a Team subscriber uses every Team feature in that project. Only the limit on how many projects an account can own follows the member's own plan.

What happens when you downgrade

Downgrading never deletes data. Instead, access adjusts:

  • Settings above your new plan (theme colors, custom instructions, private mode, ...) stay stored but stop being applied until you upgrade again.
  • Team members over the new cap: the most recently joined members beyond the limit lose project access; the oldest members and the owner keep working. See Members & invitations.
  • Tebex stores over the new cap are locked (oldest connections stay active).
  • AI quota switches to the new plan's monthly allowance.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and can be upgraded, downgraded, cancelled, or resumed at any time from your billing settings. Invoices are available there as PDF downloads.
