Quick take
Tickets v2 is the polished Discord-channel ticket model - clean dashboard, custom forms, encrypted cloud transcripts, support teams, exit surveys on Premium, Whitelabel rename. But it inherits Discord's 500-channel cap, ships zero Tebex integration, has no AI, and lives entirely inside Discord. Joely runs on its own database with Tebex sync, trainable AI, and a Cfx.re-authenticated portal.
Why Joely is the better alternative
The three reasons that drive the rest of the comparison.
No 500-channel limit
Tickets v2 inherits Discord's hard cap at 500 active channels. Joely runs its own database - unlimited tickets, full history forever.
Tebex purchase context
Joely connects directly to your Tebex store. Every ticket carries the customer's full purchase history. Tickets v2 has no Tebex concept.
Branded customer portal
Customers get a web portal at your subdomain with ticket history, Tebex orders, and Cfx.re sign-in. No Discord required.

Tickets that live outside Discord
Tickets v2 is the most polished bot in the Discord ticket category. It has a clean web dashboard, custom forms, reaction panels, support teams, and encrypted transcripts saved to their cloud when a ticket closes. For a general Discord community use case, it's a solid choice.
The Discord-channel model still applies: each ticket is a Discord channel, capped at 500 active per server. Closed tickets save a transcript to Tickets v2's cloud, but the transcript is a static archive - not a queryable record your staff can reopen, edit, or search in context. Joely treats tickets as first-class database records: IDs, statuses, assignees, scheduled closures, reply threads, internal notes, inline message edits, and full-text search across every field and message body.
For a creator who needs to reopen a ticket from three months ago to find a specific transaction ID, the difference between "static cloud transcript" and "real database" is hours of work.
Tebex integration
Tickets v2 has no native Tebex integration. Customer purchases live in Tebex; your tickets live in Tickets v2; the two don't talk.
Joely connects to your Tebex store directly. Every ticket from a Cfx.re-authenticated customer carries the full purchase history: transaction IDs, products, dates, statuses. You can issue Tebex coupons and gift cards from inside the ticket on Plus and above. You can link Tebex packages to GitHub repositories so creating an issue from a ticket attaches the right repo automatically.

AI trained on your products
Tickets v2 ships no AI replies. If you want automation, you wire up an external service yourself.
Joely's AI is trained on your docs - paste URLs, upload files, or feed it from resolved conversations. Knowledge is scoped per Tebex package, so answers for ESX, QBCore or vRP resources don't bleed across products. You can run it in approval mode, autonomous mode, or schedule it to reply only outside business hours if you want a human-first daytime workflow.
A real customer portal
Tickets v2's dashboard is for staff: configure the bot, view stats on Premium, send messages from the web. Customers themselves still operate entirely inside Discord. The encrypted transcripts saved to the cloud are an archive for the owner, not a customer-facing portal where buyers can sign in, see their ticket history, follow status, or browse their orders.
Joely gives every project a branded customer portal at {your-slug}.joely.io (or your own domain on Enterprise) with Cfx.re sign-in. The portal shows ticket history, order history, purchases linked to Tebex, and lets customers reply to tickets, follow or unfollow them, and respond to the CSAT survey - all without ever opening Discord.
Roles, automations, and metrics
Tickets v2 has solid Discord-side workflow: support teams per panel, claiming, autoclose (Premium), live message updates and sending from the dashboard. Exit surveys collect ratings on Premium. Joely ships 39 granular permissions composable into custom roles via drag-and-drop, plus auto-assign rules that route tickets by Tebex package (Team plan), internal notes, scheduled closures, and a staff performance dashboard with response counts and CSAT scores.

Who should pick what
Pick Joely if
- You sell paid scripts, packs, or resources on Tebex (FiveM or RedM)
- You need a database your tickets and history survive in, not Discord channels
- You want to give customers a branded portal with Cfx.re sign-in
- You're past 5-10 tickets/day and Discord transcripts aren't enough
Pick Tickets v2 if
Visit- You run a general Discord community and want the cleanest Discord-native ticket UX
- You don't sell anything (no purchases to verify)
- You want a Whitelabel bot with your own name and avatar for under $7/month
- You're fine with Discord's 500-channel cap and cloud-archived transcripts
Switching from Tickets v2
There's nothing to export. Tickets v2 stores tickets as Discord channels with encrypted transcripts in their cloud - your old closed tickets stay there. The day you switch:
- Install the Joely Discord bot in your server (one click)
- Connect your Tebex store (one form)
- Replace the Tickets v2 "open ticket" embed in your channels with Joely's
- Share your Joely portal URL (
{your-slug}.joely.io) in your Discord welcome message and Tebex product descriptions
Old Tickets v2 tickets keep working until they close on their own. New tickets land in Joely with full Tebex context, persistent history, and AI on call.
Joely is not for
- FiveM RP server operators selling VIP slots or in-game items directly to players (Joely is built for script creators selling to other devs)
- Sellers outside Tebex (Gumroad, Stripe direct, custom checkout) - the Tebex integration is the moat
- General Discord communities (gaming, social, moderation) without a Tebex store to verify
Frequently asked
They never leave Discord - they get notified there. The moment you reply, the customer gets a Discord DM with the message preview and a one-click link back to the ticket on your portal. Login is Cfx.re OAuth (the account they already use to play on your server), so there's no new password and no email verification.
For a general Discord community that just needs tickets, Tickets v2 is excellent - probably the cleanest UX in the Discord ticket category, with forms, support teams, exit surveys on Premium, and a Whitelabel tier. The point of this comparison is that if you sell on Tebex and your customers expect a real support experience (purchase context, a customer-facing portal, a database that survives Discord's 500-channel cap, AI trained on your products), Joely is built for that case and Tickets v2 is not.
Technically yes - they don't conflict at the Discord level. In practice, splitting tickets across two systems creates confusion. We recommend picking one. Joely's Free plan is enough to evaluate the workflow on real traffic before committing.
Yes, on Enterprise. You get a custom domain, branded portal, and a Discord bot configurable with your own assets.
Joely is built for script creators selling paid resources on Tebex (FiveM or RedM today). If you run a general Discord community without a Tebex store, Tickets v2 is your better fit - see the Joely is not for callout above and the full feature list for a complete picture.
