Quick take
Ticket Tool turns each ticket into a Discord channel - and Discord caps you at 500 active channels per server. Joely runs on its own database: unlimited active tickets, full history forever, automatic Tebex purchase verification, and trainable AI on your own docs.
Why Joely is the better alternative
The three reasons that drive the rest of the comparison.
No 500-channel limit
Ticket Tool's default channel-style hits Discord's 500-channel cap and forces you to delete tickets to make room. Joely runs its own database - unlimited tickets, full history forever, no Discord limits.
Tebex-native context
Purchase history, transaction IDs and product details surface automatically on every ticket. No "please send your transaction ID" back-and-forth.
Trainable AI on your docs
AI scoped per Tebex package, fed by your own resources, server.cfg snippets, and install guides. Approval mode keeps you in control.

Ticketing experience
Ticket Tool turns each request into a Discord channel (its default panel style). Closed tickets get archived, then deleted when you hit Discord's 500-channel cap per server. Their thread-style panels avoid the channel cap, but they still live inside Discord with no external search or history. If the same customer comes back next month asking about the same ensure order in their server.cfg, your staff starts from scratch.
Joely keeps every ticket, every message, every file, and every linked Tebex order indexed in a real database. Search by customer name, by package, by transaction ID, by message body. Reopen a closed ticket and the full thread is right there. The 500-channel cap simply doesn't exist.
You also get a real inbox: filters, statuses, assignees, internal notes, scheduled closures, reply threads, and inline message edits. Ticket Tool's Discord-channel model can't do any of that without a stack of extra bots. See the full feature list.
Tebex integration
Ticket Tool has no concept of Tebex. If you sell on Tebex, your staff still has to ask every customer for a transaction ID, a screenshot of the order, and the email used at checkout.
Joely connects directly to your Tebex store. As soon as a Cfx.re-authenticated customer opens a ticket, the sidebar shows their full purchase history: every transaction, the products they bought, the dates, the prices, and the order status. No screenshots. No "please verify your purchase". You can also issue Tebex coupons and gift cards from inside the ticket on Plus and above.
For creators selling ESX, QBCore or vRP resources, this changes the entire support workflow. Most of the back-and-forth you do today is purchase verification - and Joely deletes it.
AI replies
Ticket Tool ships no AI. If you want automated answers, you bolt on a third-party bot, write the prompts yourself, and hope it stays in sync with your products.
Joely's AI is trained directly on your docs - paste URLs (Jina Reader pulls the content), upload files, or feed it from resolved conversations. Knowledge is scoped per Tebex package, so the answer for ESX Jobs Pack never bleeds into the answer for QBCore Garage. You can run it in approval mode (the AI drafts, you click send) or autonomous mode (it replies on its own, optionally only outside business hours). Free includes 50 AI responses per month, Plus 200, Team 2,000, and Enterprise is unlimited.
See the AI knowledge pipeline for the full setup.
Customer portal
Ticket Tool customers live entirely inside Discord. They have no list of past tickets, no way to follow a thread without scrolling history, and no presence outside Discord.
Joely gives every project a branded customer portal at {your-slug}.joely.io (or your own domain on Enterprise). Customers sign in with their existing Cfx.re account - the native FiveM/RedM identity - and get their ticket list, order history, and full Tebex purchases page out of the box. They can still get DM notifications when staff replies, follow or unfollow tickets, and answer the CSAT survey from the same place.
Roles, automations, and metrics
Ticket Tool's dashboard exposes per-panel moderator and permission options, plus claiming and basic automations (auto-close on inactivity, ticket-create / close triggers). Joely ships 39 granular permissions you compose into custom roles via drag-and-drop, plus auto-assign rules that route tickets to a staff member or role based on the Tebex package selected (Team plan).
Ticket Tool's stats page tracks ticket counts and claimed-ticket percentages per panel. Joely tracks the same plus CSAT surveys sent automatically on close, a staff performance dashboard with response counts and resolution speed, and unassigned tickets surfaced for review.

Who should pick what
Pick Joely if
- You sell paid scripts, packs, or resources on Tebex (FiveM or RedM)
- You get more than 5-10 tickets per day and Discord threads start scrolling off
- You want the AI to handle ESX, QBCore or vRP installation questions overnight
- You've hit Discord's 500-channel cap on Ticket Tool, or you don't want to
Pick Ticket Tool if
Visit- You run a general Discord community (not a Tebex store) and just need tickets to escalate roles or moderate
- Your ticket volume stays well under 500 active at a time and you accept the history loss when channels archive
- You don't sell anything, so there is no purchase to verify
Switching from Ticket Tool
There's nothing to export. Ticket Tool stores tickets as Discord channels, not as data - your old closed transcripts stay archived in Discord. The day you switch:
- Install the Joely Discord bot in your server (one click)
- Connect your Tebex store (one form)
- Replace the
Open ticketTicket Tool button in your channels with Joely's embed - Share your Joely portal URL (
{your-slug}.joely.io) in your Discord welcome message and product descriptions
The next customer who clicks Open ticket lands in Joely. Old Ticket Tool tickets keep working in Discord until they close on their own. If you've hit the 500-channel cap, you can finally start deleting archived channels - Joely's full history is independent from Discord.
Joely is not for
- FiveM RP server operators selling VIP slots or in-game items directly to players (Joely is built for script creators selling to other devs, not in-game commerce)
- Sellers using Gumroad, Stripe direct, or any non-Tebex checkout - the Tebex integration is the core value
- Pure hobbyists with one or two free scripts and fewer than 5 tickets per month - Free still works, but a Discord bot is fine for that volume
Frequently asked
They never leave Discord - they get notified there. The moment you reply, the customer gets a Discord DM with the message preview and a one-click link back to the ticket on your portal. Login is Cfx.re OAuth (the account they already use to play on your server), so there's no new password, no email verification, no friction. The portal is the buyer's "thread"; Discord stays their "alert".
No. Ticket Tool is one of the most popular Discord ticket bots for a reason - it's reliable, free to start, and easy to set up for a general community. The point of this comparison is that if you sell products on Tebex, a Discord-channel ticketing bot is fundamentally the wrong shape: there's no purchase context, no persistent history, no customer portal, no metrics, and Discord's 500-channel cap forces you to delete tickets eventually. Joely is purpose-built for that exact workflow.
Yes. Joely's Discord bot delivers DM notifications to customers as soon as staff replies, lets customers preview the response inline, and links Cfx.re identities automatically. You can embed an "Open a ticket" button in any Discord channel - your community workflow doesn't change.
Yes. The Free plan supports 1 member and 1 Tebex store with full Tebex sync, Discord DM notifications, GitHub issue creation, and 50 AI responses per month. You only pay if you outgrow it - Plus is 9€/mo, Team is 22€/mo.
Joely is built for script creators selling paid resources on Tebex (FiveM or RedM today; Minecraft and Garry's Mod on the roadmap). If you sell outside Tebex, run a roleplay server selling in-game items to players, or your volume is below 5 tickets per month, a Discord ticket bot is probably enough.
